A GLANCE at a JMJ Consulting Project:
This $2 million streetscape, drainage, and utility improvement project spanned across two blocks in Thomasville, Georgia’s bustling downtown – US Hwy 84 (Madison St) and one block of West Jackson Street. The project was partially funded by the GDOT TE grant, and the scope included relocation of existing curb and gutter, burial of overhead utilities, installation of tree planters, and construction of concrete sidewalks with brick inlay. Responsibilities included bid advertisement, award, contract administration, shop drawing and submittal review. Inspections included daily site inspections, organizing weekly coordination meetings, correspondence and communications, review of pay applications, quality control, and punch list generation.
